The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs defeated No. 14 Baylor Bears on Saturday. The Horned Frogs defeated the Bears 30-28 at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas.
With the win, the Horned Frogs improved to 4-5 on the season. This is their second conference win on the season.

This was TCU’s first win since a 52-31 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Oct. 9th.
The Bears suffered their second loss on the season, as they are 7-2. Baylor suffered their first loss since Oct. 2nd when they were defeated 24-14 by the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
This was the Horned Frogs first game without longtime head coach Gary Patterson, who was forced to resign on Halloween. Jerry Kill was named the interim head coach.
Horned Frogs quarterback Chandler Morris went 29 of 41 for 461 yards. He had two touchdown passes.
Morris also led the team with 11 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown. Quentin Johnston had five receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown.
Bears quarterback Gerry Bohanon went 14 of 20 for 214 yards. He had three touchdown passes and two interceptions.
Abram Smith had 18 carries for 125 yards. Tyquan Thornton had five receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
Both teams scored two touchdowns in the second half. Morris hit Dominic DiNunzio for a five-yard touchdown reception.
Morris also connected with Johnston for a 19-yard touchdown reception.
Bears’ Trestan Ebner scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown. Bohanon hit Thornton for a four-yard touchdown reception.
TCU led 16-14 at halftime. Morris scored on a 12-yard rushing touchdown. Griffin Kell also made three field goals.
Bears’ Bohanon hit Thornton for a seven-yard touchdown reception. Bohanon also hit Drake Dabney for a 21-yard touchdown reception.
