The Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants play on Sunday. The two teams will do battle for the first time in 2021 with a 1 pm kickoff at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

This will be the first game for the Giants since they fired offensive coordinator Jason Garrett earlier this week. Freddie Kitchens was promoted to interim offensive coordinator for the rest of the season following Garrett’s departure.

The Eagles bring a 5-6 record into the game. Philadelphia has won two straight games.

New York comes into the contest with a 3-7 record. The Giants lost their last game in a 30-10 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.

Philadelphia leads the all-time series 88-86-2. New York won the last game in the series with a 27-27 win on November 15, 2020.

Before the Giants win last November, the Eagles had won eight straight games in the series dating back to December 22nd, 2016.

Since the 2010 season, the Giants have just 5 wins in 22 meetings.

SportsBettingDime.com’s formula predicts the Giants winning the game over the Eagles by two points. But Philadelphia remains the betting favorite, per most sportsbooks.

This is the game to bet on. Many are excited about the news of New York sports legislation being passed by the end of the year or the beginning of 2022.
