The Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals will play in Super Bowl LVI. The game will kick off at 6:30 pm EST at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

The Rams are the second straight team to play in and host the Super Bowl. Last season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

This is the eighth Super Bowl in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It is their first Super Bowl in the area since 1993 when the Dallas Cowboys beat down the Buffalo Bills 52-17 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

Super Bowl 56 odds have started to move. However, the Rams are the favorite at the moment.

This is the Rams’ fifth Super Bowl appearance. However, they have just one Super Bowl win, which came in 1999 when they won 23-16 over the Tennessee Titans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia on January 30th, 2000.

Los Angeles has lost Super Bowls in 1979, 2001, and 2018.

This is the Bengals’ third Super Bowl appearance. They previously lost in Super Bowls in 1981 and 1988.

These two teams have not faced one another since the 2019 season. The Bengals lead the all-time series 8-6.

In the previous 14 meetings, the Rams have scored 259 points. The Bengals have scored 255 points.

The Rams won their last meeting 24-10 over the Bengals on October 27, 2019. Former signal-caller Jared Goff led the Rams to the win in this game.

Goff was traded in the off-season in a blockbuster deal for Matthew Stafford. Before this playoff win, Stafford had not won a playoff game in his previous 12 seasons.

Stafford last played against the Bengals in a 26-17 loss on December 24th, 2017.

The 33-year-old Stafford has gone 72 of 100 for 905 in three playoff games this postseason. He has thrown six touchdown passes and one interception.

Cam Akers — who missed the regular season with a torn Achilles — returned just in time for the postseason. He has had 151 rushing yards in three games.

Cooper Kupp has shined the last two games. He has 20 receptions for 325 yards and three touchdowns.

Overall, Kupp has had 25 receptions for 386 yards and four touchdowns.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is playing with house money. He has gone 75 of 109 for 842 yards. He has thrown four touchdown passes and two interceptions.

Joe Mixon has had 52 carries for 190 yards this postseason with one touchdown. He also has 13 receptions for 106 yards.

Rookie Ja’Marr Chase has had 20 receptions for 279 yards. He also has one touchdown reception.
