The Tropical Thunder drag racing team lives on. In February, driver Wayne Smozanek passed away.

His widow Wendy Smozanek has announced that the team will take part in the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings Season 5. The belief was that his son Will Race will drive the car.

The team will have a new driver. However, Will Race will not be driving the car this season.
