Wayne Smozanek

Wayne Smozanek was a Monster Truck driver and drag racer. He was based out of Jupiter, Florida. 

Smozanek was the driver of the Tropical Thunder Monster Truck. Throughout his career in the sport, he also drove Night Life, Track Attack, and Pouncer Monster Trucks.

He named his hot rod after his Monster Truck that he previously drove. He also competed in Pro Modified races before entering into the No Prep world.

Smozanek appeared on the Street Outlaws on the Discovery Channel before his death. He was a part of the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings Season 4. 

He also made an appearance on Fastest in America that was led by Memphis Street Outlaws driver Jonathan “JJ DaBoss” Day. 

In December 2021, he was admitted to the hospital following a bout with COVID-19. He succumbed to his battle on February 12, 2022.
