Bobby Ducote experiences fireball during the Invitational at Maple Grove

Street Outlaws No Prep Kings star Bobby Ducote made his first Invitational since the non-points race at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida. Despite losing in “Race Your Way In,” Ducote got into the Invitational.

Ducote was defeated in the “Race Your Way In” by Brandon James at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pennsylvania. However, he got a lucky chip to get into the Invitational.

He wasn’t so lucky with his first-round opponent. He had to go up against two-time Street Outlaws No Prep Kings champion Ryan Martin.

“What one looks better his name Fireball Camaro or my actual “Fireball,” Lil Legend Bobby Ducote said in a Facebook post. “Gotta Love being a BBQ pit sometimes. It’s racing [and] part of it. We will be back.”

Ducote showed that there was a problem with the valves during the run.

“Well we gave it a shot at Fireball but the valves said nope not today,” he also said in a separate Facebook post. “It happens. It’s racing. This isn’t bad so we will run her to Henson Racing Engines [and] get her back running.”

The Mississippi native will attempt to have his engine repaired in time for this weekend’s event. After leaving Pennslyvania, he traveled to Oklahoma. Once his engine is repaired, he’ll then head to New England Dragway for this weekend’s filming in Epping, New Hampshire.
