James Bradberry signs with the Eagles

James Bradberry is staying in the NFC East. However, he will be relocating about two hours south of his previous residence.

Bradberry has signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. He will receive $10 million for the upcoming 2022 season.

The cornerback was released by the New York Giants after April’s draft. He spent two seasons with the Giants.

The team cut ties with the corner after they failed to find a trade partner. He left behind an $11 million dead cap hit to the team at the time of his departure.

Shortly after being released by the Giants, the Eagles were mentioned. And that’s where he eventually found a new home.

He is taking the spot that previously belonged to Steven Nelson. In April, he signed a two-year deal with the Houston Texans worth $10 million.

The soon-to-be 29-year-old is joining his third NFL team. He began his career with the Carolina Panthers.

With the Giants, he made 32 appearances, including 31 starts. He had 101 tackles with seven interceptions. He also had two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries, including one fumble.

Bradberry also had 35 pass deflections.

His career has seen him appear in 92 games, including 91 starts. He has had 380 tackles, including seven tackles for a loss and three quarterback hits.

He also has 3.0 sacks and 15 interceptions. Bradberry had four forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries, including the fumble. He also had 82 pass deflections.
