Florida Gators second string quarterback Jalen Kitna has impacted the rest of his life. The 19-year-old was arrested on Wednesday in Florida.

It is unclear at this time how long Kitna is facing in jail time if convicted of all charges. He may have to be added to the national sex offender registry once he’s released from jail.

“We are shocked and saddened to hear of the news involving Jalen Kitna,” the statement reads. “These are extremely serious charges and the University of Florida and the UAA have zero tolerance for such behavior. Jalen has been suspended indefinitely from the football program.”

TMZ Sports is reporting that Kitna received a tip on Wednesday. This came after someone claimed that a Discord user distributed “an image of child sexual abuse material.”

During their investigation, it was determined that the Discord channel belonged to Kitna. The police said that they found that two images were distributed.

Kitna allegedly told police that he knew of the images in question. He claimed that he found the images online.

He told the police that he remembered sharing the images in question.

The authorities took Kitna’s electronic devices. That’s when they found three additional photos.
