According to ESPN, no deal has been reached between Saudi club Al Nassr and soccer superstar free agent Cristiano Ronaldo. We reported on Monday that he had agreed to a massive deal with the club.
Ronaldo is a free agent. However, he is currently competing in the World Cup with Portugal.

Due to a controversial interview with TV host Piers Morgan, Manchester United began the process of looking at terminating his contract. Days later, he was released.

The reports in Spain and elsewhere said that Ronaldo had agreed to a 2 1/2-year contract with Al Nassr. He was allegedly going to be paid $500 million.
ESPN sources claim that a deal with the club is on the table. However, nothing has been reached and agreed to by the parties.
An announcement regarding his future will be announced after the World Cup. The final game of the soccer showcase will be on Sunday, December 18th.
Portugal remains in the World Cup. They are now in the Round of 8.
The team defeated Switzerland 6-1 on Tuesday.
Al Nassr reportedly tried to sign Ronaldo last summer. However, Manchester United refused to do business and elected to keep the soccer star.
Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid were also interested in Ronaldo. But Manchester United refused to work with them too.
Before being released, Ronaldo appeared in 10 matches. He made four starts.
He had one goal in 525 minutes.

He has played for four teams in 21 seasons. He also played for Real Madrid, Juventus, and Sporting CP.
In his career, Ronaldo has appeared in 651 matches. He has 577 starts.
He has scored 498 goals. Ronaldo has also assisted on 138 goals.
According to Soccer Reference, Ronaldo is averaging a goal per 0.86 games. The majority of his goals came with Real Madrid, where he scored 311.
