The Houston Texans won their first playoff game in nearly five years. The Texans defeated the Cleveland Browns 45-14 on Saturday afternoon at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

This was the Texans first playoff win since the 2019 season. The likelihood is that the team will be on the road next weekend against the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens.

The only way that will not be the case is if the Pittsburgh Steelers upset the second-seed Buffalo Bills in Buffalo, New York on Monday. The game was pushed back a day due to snow.

The Texans will likely play again next Saturday. The NFL will make the Steelers-Bills winner to play next Sunday.

January Joe suffered his first playoff loss in the Wild Card round. Joe Flacco was previously 5-0 with the Baltimore Ravens.

His previous Wild Card round wins came in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2015.

He is now 10-6 in the playoffs. And this may have been his final NFL game. The 38-year-old is in the tail end of his career.

This was his first playoff appearance since 2015 with the Ravens when they were defeated by the New England Patriots.

With the win, the Texans improved to 5-6 in the playoffs. The Browns fell to 12-22 in the playoffs.
