The Los Angeles Clippers will be without one of its stars for the rest of Tuesday night’s game. Kawhi Leonard will not return.

Leonard left the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Los Angeles in the first half. According to the Los Angeles Times reporter Brad Turner, Leonard is dealing with Thoracic spasms.

While he left the game, a short time later, he was seen in street clothes leaving the arena. He had six points in 12 minutes of action.

At this time, the Clippers have not said anything on social media as to why Leonard left the game. Head coach Tyronn Lue will tell the media after the game Leonard’s official status.

According to Hinge Health, one can suffer a thoracic spasm due to overuse. Being that Leonard is a professional athlete, it is tough for them to be overused since they can get a day off for load management to rest.

It is not clear if something may have happened when Leonard was working out.

The 32-year-old did not play in the Clippers last game. He sat out during their home game against the Milwaukee Bucks on March 10th.

Before missing the March 10th game, Leonard had 19 points against the Chicago Bulls on March 9th. He played in 38 minutes in the contest.

If he has to be some time — or an extended period of time — then Paul George and James Harden would have to lead the way.
