No. 10 TCNJ Women’s Lax blow out Johnson and Wales 20-2

The No. 10 The College of New Jersey Women’s Lacrosse has had its second straight blowout. This time, they blew out the Johnson and Wales Wildcats 20-2 on Saturday at the TCNJ Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex in Ewing, New Jersey.

Over the past two Saturdays, the Lions have outscored their opponents 38-4. Last Saturday, they defeated the Farmingdale State Rams 18-2.

The Lions improved to 5-0 with the win. The Wildcats; however, fell to 1-3.

Johnson & Wales have dropped their last two games. They have been outscored 38-9 during their two-game losing streak.

The game was out of reach once the contest reached halftime. The Lions had a 14-2 lead.

However, the game had to continue in the second half. TCNJ went on to score six additional goals.

The Lions had several players to lead them in scoring. Ally Tobler, Marissa Lucca, and Madison Wernik contributed four goals each.

Then, Natalie Berry added three more goals. CJ Kole had two goals. Kira Sides, Morgan Vaccaro, and Veronica Campbell had one goal each.

Johnson & Wales had two goal scorers. Katie Sloan and Isabella Nugent scored the goals.
