Street Outlaws No Prep Kings star Kye Kelley was the only competitor from their show to make the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals. And he was the last man standing in the first race of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series.

Kelley defeated Ken Quartuccio to win the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks. Kelley went 3.594 at 207.780 mph to get the win in the M&M Transmission Outlaw Pro Mod presented by FuelTech and PJS Racing final round at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida.

“We won the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals,” Kye Kelley Racing said in a Facebook post. “Just speechless man. We fought through the baddest 60-something Pro Mods on the planet with a steel body Third Gen Camaro! Jeff Pierce is a baaad man on that keyboard. Thanks so much to Wes Buck and Drag Illustrated (and) Bradenton Motorsports Park for a great facility.

“Thanks to all you guys out there for having our back and hying us online! It’s been electric out there. Thanks to my sponsors and supports for making it all possible. Longer post coming. I got a lot of people to thank but just wow.”

For the win, according to his crew, Kelley received a $50,000 check for the win.

Kelley faced some heavy hitters in the 32-car field on Sunday. He was the only Street Outlaws No Prep Kings driver to actually make the field.

NHRA Pro Mod racer Stevie “Fast” Jackson has been critical of the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings in the past. Yet, he showed some respect to Kelley after the big win.

“Pro Mod Racer Kye Kelley does it!,” Steve Jackson Racing said in a Facebook post. “Great job guys! Great job Jeff Pierce! That was a blast to watch!

“You are a driving man!!! This is great for the sport!!! Congratulations 💪💪”

The Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Services now has two races left on their schedule. This includes the U.S. Street Nationals at the end of January on the dates of January 24th through 26th.

Then, it concludes with the World Series of Pro Mod on February 27th through March 1st.
