Philadelphia, Pa. — Competitor Jeremy Stephens came into enemy territory and got the win at BKFC Knucklemania V on Saturday night. This was the first Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Owner David Feldman said that BKFC will have another event in Philadelphia later in the year. He did not say when that will be.
He also said that the organization will have a smaller event in March at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. Right now, the 2300 Arena website does not have a BKFC event listed for March.

Stephens defeated Philadelphia native Eddie Alvarez in the main event. He got the TKO (Corner Stoppage) win after Stephens punched Alvarez.
“Everybody was against me, Big Dog,” Stephens said after his win. “Came in here and we wrecked this sh*t. Let’s go!”
Alvarez was stunned by the punch. He then looked over to his corner, before going down to a knee with 10 seconds left in the round. A short time later, the fight was over.
The fight was stopped at the conclusion of the third round.
“Speed,” Stephens said of what contributed to his win. “Years of being broken. You know, I lost so many times in the UFC, like a thousand times, but I put myself back together a thousand and three f**king times, Big Dog.
“You cannot stop me. This is resilience. Years of hard work. My whole life was dedicated to this. I want to dedicate this fight to my father back home. 38 years in Loffredo Company in Des Moines, Iowa. He’s working his a** off, just like many of you people, who buy tickets even way up there. My dad, I love you. This fight’s for you. To my grandma, who passed away, I know she had a hand in this. I love you.”
Stephens said that no one picked him to win the fight.
“My own promoters were against me,” Stephens said. “The whole city was against me. McGregor’s against me. Mike Perry. Everybody doubt me. Look at me now. Pay me my f**king money!”
Following the fight, Stephens called out BKFC co-owner Conor McGregor, who was in attendance. Feldman said at his post-fight press conference that he said that McGregor told him to announce Stephens vs. McGregor in BKFC.
