Brandon Thatch was an MMA fighter. He previously competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC).
He; however, has not competed in an MMA bout since 2016. He was released by the UFC following a loss to Niko Price.
Thatch was defeated by Price via an arm-triangle choke at UFC 207 on December 30th, 2016. Following the bout, Thatch was without a job in the UFC.

When he did compete in the UFC, he received the Fight of the Night award when he was defeated by Benson Henderson via a rear-naked choke on February 14th, 2015. He also received the Knockout of the Night when he knocked out Justin Edwards by a TKO (knee and punches) at UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Kampmann 2 on August 28th, 2013.
If this is the end of his Combat Sports career, he went 11-5 in the MMA. Eight of his 11 wins were by knockout. He ended his career on a four-fight losing streak.

His last win came over Paulo Thiago via TKO (Submission to knee to the body) at UFC Fight Night on November 9th, 2013 in Brazil.
