Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant was a former NBA player. He played in the Association from the 1996-1997 season through the 2015-16 season.

He was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the 13th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft. He was then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers for Vlade Divac.

Bryant played in over 1,300 games with the Lakers. The exact number was 1,346. He had an average of 25 points per game in his career.

He was a two-time scoring champion. His highest average in a season was 35.4 points per game during the 2005-06 season.

He wore two numbers in his career, as he began the first half of his career wearing No. 8. Then, around the mid-point in his career, he switched to No. 24.

Bryant is an 18-time All-Star and a 15-time All-NBA selection. He is a five-time NBA Champion. In two of the Championships, he received the Finals MVP.

He is one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA. He is a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and a part of the Basketball Hall of Fame.
