Marcus Mariota

Marcus Mariota was a college football player. The quarterback played for the Oregon Ducks from 2012 through 2014.

Mariota was the Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year in 2012. He won the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2014.

He received the Heisman Trophy in December 2014. The Hawai’ian also won the Maxwell Award, Manning Award, Walter Camp Award, Davey O’Brien Award, and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2014.

The Associated Press named him the Player of the Year in 2014. He was also a unanimous All-American in 2014.

He went 779 of 1,167 for 10,796 yards in 41 games. He had 105 touchdown passes and 14 interceptions.

Mariota had 337 carries for 2,237 yards and 29 additional touchdowns. He also had two receptions for 28 yards and two touchdowns.

The best game of his collegiate career came on Sept. 14, 2013 against the Tennessee Volunteers. He went 23 of 33 for 456 yards and four touchdowns.

He also had six carries for 27 yards and a touchdown.
