Tyler Johnston III

Tyler Johnston III was a college football player. He played for the UAB Blazers from 2017 through 2021.

Johnston III won two Conference USA Championships with the Blazers. He is fourth on the school’s all-time touchdown passes list with 35.

He is also fourth all-time on the school’s passing list with 4,838. Only Darrell Hackney (9,886), John Whitcomb (7,420), and Joe Webb (5,771) have more passing yards in a career at the school.

The best game of his career came on Dec. 18, 2018, when he had 373 passing yards against the Northern Illinois Huskies in the Boca Raton Bowl.

The signal-caller has gone 312 of 537 for 4,838 yards in 40 games. He has thrown 37 touchdown passes and 28 interceptions.

He has also had 204 carries for 666 yards and five additional touchdowns.
