Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison returned to practice on Thursday. However, it is not clear if he’ll play this Sunday.

The receiver has missed the team’s last nine games. He has been dealing with a bruised left knee that he suffered on Sept. 30 against the Denver Broncos.

“If he’s able to practice and go, we’d love to get him some plays, (but) it’s not as easy as people think,” Coach Tony Dungy said earlier this week.

The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native last played on Oct. 22 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had three receptions for 16 yards.

He has not played since the Jaguars game. Before playing against the Jaguars, he last played on Sept. 30 against the Broncos. He had an eight-yard reception in that game.

His best game of the season came in Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans. He had six receptions for 87 yards.

His lone touchdown game in the season-opener against the New Orleans Saints was when he had four receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown.

The Colts play the Titans in their season-finale on Dec. 30 at the RCA Dome. If the Titans win this game, they’ll earn their first playoff berth since the 2003 season.

Indianapolis has already made the playoffs. They will be the No. 2 seed, while the undefeated New England Patriots are the No. 1 seed.

If Harrison cannot make it, he’ll be the seventh Colts player, who is listed out of the game. However, he’ll be the only receiver out.
