Virtual Game Ball: Mariota throws for 377 and 6 TDs vs. California

No. 2 Oregon Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota has received his first Virtual Game Ball from us. Mariota helped the Ducks defeat the California Bears on Saturday, November 10, 2012.

Mariota went 27 of 34 for 377 yards in the game. He also had six touchdown passes.

Four of Mariota’s six touchdown passes came in the second half. Mariota hit Colt Lyerla for a 10-yard touchdown reception.

Mariota also connected with Josh Huff for a 10-yard touchdown reception.

In the second half, Mariota connected with Huff for two additional touchdowns. He also hit Lyerla for a 14-yard touchdown reception.

The Hawai’ian hit Will Murphy for a seven-yard touchdown reception.

This was Mariota’s second straight game, where he broke the 300-yard mark. He also had 304 yards against the Southern California (USC) Trojans on Nov. 3, 2012.
