Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has reportedly banned ESPN‘s Tim McMahon and Marc Stein from covering his team. McMahon covered the home opener, according to reports.

Stein has been primarily focused on the Golden State Warriors the past few years, even though he lives in Dallas. It’s not clear what they did — if at all — but ESPN is talking to the Mavericks about this matter.

“It’s between us and ESPN,” Cuban said.

McMahon used to be the full-time Mavericks best writer. However, the company changed his role this season, as he’s covering different teams as a general National Basketball Association reporter.

While they’re banned from covering games, they’re not banned from entering the facility. Cuban said they can buy a ticket and attend games in the stands — but they’re off limits from the locker room.

Stein joined ESPN after covering the Mavericks for The Dallas Morning News.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with this moving forward.
