DraftKings and FanDuel are now one, as the two companies have merged together. After months of discussions, the deal was announced on Friday.
Jason Robins, DraftKings co-founder, will now serve as the CEO of the new firm. Nigel Eccles, the FanDuel co-founder, will be the chairman of the board. Their board will combine three members of each company.

A seventh member will be named to the board later, according to Sports Illustrated.
At this time, according to ESPN, both companies will operate separately. The deal is pending approval from the Federal Trade Commission.
“Joining forces will allow us to truly realize the potential of our vision, and as a combined company, we will be able to accelerate the pace of innovation and bring a richer experience to our customers than we ever could have done separately,” Jason Robins, chief executive of DraftKings, said in a statement.
However, according to the Wall Street Journal, FanDuel attorney doesn’t expect there to be a problem with the deal.
DraftKings is a sports betting company founded in 2012 in Boston, Massachusetts, by Jason Robins, Paul Liberman, and Matthew Kalish.
This company offers a sportsbook and daily fantasy sports betting.
FanDuel was founded years prior in July 2009. The online gambling company features a sportsbook, daily fantasy, horse racing, and online casino.
