The Arizona Coyotes announced on Saturday afternoon that they have signed center Tyler Gaudet. It’s a one-year, two-way contract.
Financial terms of the contract were not released by the team.

He played in just four games with the franchise last season. The 24-year-old had an assist for one point in those contests.

Gaudet had six goals and 16 assists for 22 points in 62 games with the Tucson Roadrunners in the American Hockey League.
In 20 career NHL games, Gaudet has one goal and three assists for four points.
He played 14 games with the Coyotes during the 2015-16 season. He had one goal and two assists for three points.
Gaudet also had two appearances with the team during the 2014-15 season. He did not register a point in these games.
He has 18 goals and 37 assists for 55 points in 179 AHL games with the Roadrunners, Springfield Falcons, and the Portland Pirates.

He signed with the Coyotes as a free agent on November 4th, 2013.
It’ll be interesting to see if he gets more playing time next season.
The Coyotes had the second-worst record in the Pacific Division this past season. The team went 30-42-10 on the season. They had 70 points.
Only the Vancouver Canucks had the worst record in the Division. They also won 30 games.
However, they were 30-43-9 on the season. The Canucks had one less point at 69 points.
