Michigan Wolverines senior linebacker Chase Winovich was injured in last week’s game. However, in his Instagram story, he hinted at playing in “The Game” against the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday.
A player, who likely would be out of the game, would not be posting this. He posted a character wearing a Michigan jersey behind a person wearing the No. 7 jersey.
That’s also the same number of Ohio State’s 21-year-old quarterback Dwayne Haskins. At first, Winovich’s character is overlooking Haskins’s character with headphones on.
Then, he gets closer and looks from behind his shoulder. As Winovich’s character was directly behind Haskin’s character, Haskins’ character begins to sweat.
Winovich — who came up with the Revenge Tour this season — was injured in the Wolverines’ 31-20 win over the Indiana Hoosiers. He suffered an upper-body injury against the Hoosiers.
This is his final time of playing in “The Game.” Both teams come into the game with 10-1 records.
Michigan has won 10 straight games after suffering a loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in their season opener on September 1st. Ohio State has won three straight after suffering a loss to the Purdue Boilermakers on October 20th.
Winovich has 48 tackles, including 12 tackles for a loss. He also has 4.0 sacks and one fumble recovery. He also has one pass deflection.
