According to multiple reports, Green Bay Packers legend Aaron Rodgers has split up with his girlfriend Shailene Woodley. The couple was engaged to be married before breaking up.
Shortly after Rodgers split from former race car driver Danica Patrick in July 2020, Rodgers and Woodley began seeing each other. During his 2021 NFL MVP speech, Rodgers hinted that he was engaged.
It was news to the world as no one knew that he had been engaged before the announcement. Rodgers previously said that he was looking forward to being a father to a child with Woodley.
The couple had been together for less than two years. They were secretly engaged in February 2021.
News began to circulate in recent days that the couple was no longer seeing one another. TMZ is reporting that the couple has been broken up for months.
“While Shailene is supportive of Aaron’s career, he put football first and they were barely spending any time together,” says one insider told In Touch Weekly. “She felt he neglected their relationship. Neither of them was happy.”
The gossip publication said that Rodgers was experiencing “cold feet” about the marriage before the break up. In Touch Weekly also claims that the couple tried to make it work, but couldn’t.
Initial speculation of a break-up began in December 2021.
The 38-year-old has been in many high-profile relationships. He was also previously in a relationship with actress Olivia Munn.
Rodgers’s last social media post featuring Woodley was on April 5, 2021.
Rodgers’s schedule has to be pretty hectic from July through January. The future Hall of Famer does not just play once a week.
He goes through practice almost every single day during the season. Outside of practice, he also must attend film sessions.
Rodgers does not have a regular 9-5 job. But she knew about that going into the relationship.
