The Memphis Grizzlies have traded center Steven Adams to the Houston Rockets. Adams has not played this season.
In exchange, the Grizzlies have received guard Victor Oladipo and three second round draft picks.

This trade will not impact either team. Neither team is currently in the playoffs. And may not make the playoffs at the end of the season.
The Rockets are 11th in the Western Conference with a 22-25 record. The Grizzlies are 13th with a 18-29 record.
This is a trade of journeymen players, who has not played in a game this season. Adams, 30, will be on his fourth NBA team.
Oladipo, 31, will be on his sixth NBA team.
This is Oladipo’s third trade since last summer.
He was traded on July 6th, 2023, by the Miami Heat to the Oklahoma City Thunder, along with two second round draft picks, for cash considerations. Then, in October, he was traded back to the Houston Rockets, where he previously played for two months in 2021.
The Thunder traded Oladipo and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to the Rockets on October 17th for Kevin Porter Jr. and two second round draft picks.
Adams is out for the season following surgery due to a PCL injury. He tried to rehab the injury before opting for the season-ending surgery.
The Kiwi has one year left on his contract. He will be paid $12.6 million in the final year of his contract next season.
Oladipo, on the other hand, is a free agent after this season. He is making $9.45 million this season.
