According to social media, the Green Bay Packers and the Houston Texans had to be separated before their game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Some social media says that there was a brawl between the teams.

However, that report appears to be inaccurate. It looked like, according to the video, that the sides had to be separated.

According to SportsTalk790’s Adam Wexler, Diggs and Alexander had “some heated talking.” Wexler also reported that there was a “little shoving but no full-on escalation.”

Wexler reported that Diggs was smiling at the end of the incident. Coaches and personnel, along with the game day officials, separated the players.

Neither player was ejected for the pre-game incident.

Diggs and Alexander are familiar with one another. Diggs began his career with the Minnesota Vikings.

The Packers and Vikings play twice a year as conference foes.

Diggs played for the Vikings from 2015 through 2019. He is in his first season with the Texans following an off-season trade from the Buffalo Bills.

He has had 37 receptions for 392 yards coming into the contest with the Packers. He has also had three touchdown receptions.

Alexander, who has been with the Packers since the 2018 season, has had 12 tackles and two interceptions coming into the contest. He also had one interception returned for a touchdown.

He has also had one fumble recovery and five pass deflections.
