Street Outlaws No Prep Kings has seen an Oklahoma driver dominate the series. However, that driver, Ryan Martin is not the 2024 Champion.

Instead, Shawn “Murder Nova” Ellington won the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings Elite Championship on Saturday at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas. Ellington, who represents the 405, is the Champion of Season 7.

Ellington, one of the Street Outlaws show’s originals, joins James “Birdman” Finney, Mike Murillo, and Martin as previous champions. Martin and his team won the team Championship last season, while Kye Kelley won the individual championship.

Martin is the first multi-time champion in the series. He has won the Street Outlaws No Prep Kings individual Championship three times. (Ryan Martin’s First Championship, Second Championship, and Third Championship)

The RamJack-sponsored driver defeated Jim Howe in the semifinals. The stipulation was if Ellington won, he would be the champion.

Several drivers had a chance to win the championship in the season’s final race. Only the top 16 drivers competed in the No Prep Kings Elite, which was the final four races, to compete for the championship.

Scott Taylor was second with 180 points. Ellington was third with 175 points. Clay Cole was fourth with 165 points, while Howe had 140 points.

However, following the semifinal win, Ellington won it all with 195.
