Sooners defeat Cardinals to win their first Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis

The Oklahoma Sooners have defeated the Louisville Cardinals to win the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis. The Sooners won 69-64 over the Cardinals at the Imperial Arena at the Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas.

With the win, the Sooners improved to 7-0 on the season. The Cardinals fell to 5-2.

This is the first time that the Sooners have won the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. In 2014, they were the runner-up, as the Wisconsin Badgers won 69-56.

The Cardinals have now been the runner-up in this tournament twice. They were also the runner-up during the 2016 tournament when the Baylor Bears defeated the team 66-63.

The Sooners were led by Jalon Moore, who had 24 points. He also had one rebound, four assists, and three steals.

He was one of two starters, who scored in double digits. Jeremiah Fears also contributed 10 points.

Oklahoma had 22 bench points. Glenn Taylor Jr. led the bench with 12 points.

He also had three bounds, one steal, and one block.

J’Vonne Hadley and Chucky Hepburn led the Cardinals with 12 points apiece. Hadley also had 13 rebounds and one assist.

Hepburn had eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

They were two of the four starters, who scored in double figures. Terrence Edwards Jr. contributed 11 points and Noah Waterman added 10 points.

They had 13 bench points from three players. Reyne Smith led the bench with 6 points.

He also had two rebounds and one steal.
