Driver injures several people as they plow into Eagles fans

According to ABC News, a car has plowed into a crowd that was celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles trip to the upcoming Super Bowl. The report said that three people were injured.

While ABC News said three people were injured, NBC 10 Philadelphia is reporting that the police have not officially released the exact number injured.

The incident happened in the Spring Garden area of Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Police Department said that the three people, who were injured, did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

The Eagles fans were celebrating their NFC Championship following their 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. The incident happened at approximately 9:30 pm EST.

At press time, the authorities said that they did not believe this was an intentional act. The police department said that the person, who was driving the car, was ‘taken into custody for questioning.’

“Everybody dancing, getting along,” a witness said to NBC 10 Philadelphia. “Next thing you know, a car coming down and it’s speeding and it hit 10 people.”

NBC 10 Philadelphia is reporting that an argument may have led to this incident.

“It was a car,” a witness said. “She was on the sidewalk. And she was arguing with some people. Drove straight down into the crowd and hit probably at least 30 people.”

This is the second incident after the Eagles won the NFC Championship Game. Following the win, a man was stabbed in the leg, according to NBC 10 Philadelphia, following an argument outside of Lincoln Financial Field.
