This week, we have seen two women’s college basketball players pass on the upcoming WNBA Draft. First, it was Notre Dame Fighting Irish women’s basketball star Olivia Miles, who decided to enter the transfer portal instead of going pro.
According to ESPN, LSU Tigers women’s basketball star Flau’Jae Johnson will also pass on the WNBA Draft. She will return to college basketball for her Senior season.

At press time, it is not clear if she will return to the Tigers during the 2025-26 season. Or if she, too, will enter the transfer portal.

The 5-foot-10 basketball player has played the past three seasons with the Tigers. The Savannah, Georgia native has appeared in 106 games, including 104 starts in her collegiate career.
Her last game this past season came in the NCAA Tournament against the UCLA Bruins. She had 28 points in the Tigers 72-65 loss to the Bruins.
This past season, Johnson averaged 18.6 points per game in 34 starts. She averaged 31.6 minutes per game.
She also had 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.9 blocks per contest.
The 18.6 points per game were her highest in her three seasons on a college campus. She averaged 11 points per game during the Tigers championship team two years ago during the 2022-23 season.

She then averaged 14.9 points per game during the 2023-24 season.
With the Tigers, Johnson was the Tigers second-leading scorer with her 18.6 points per game. Aneesah Morrow led the team with 18.7 points per game.
