Henry Ruggs III

Henry Ruggs III was an NFL player. He played with the Las Vegas Raiders from 2020 through 2021.

The former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver was the 12th overall pick by the Raiders in the 2020 NFL Draft. His last game in the league came on October 24th, 2021, against the Philadelphia Eagles when he had four receptions for 24 yards.

The best game of his career was during Week 5 during the 2020 season when he had two receptions for 118 yards and one touchdown in a 40-32 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

He was released by the Raiders after being involved in a fatal car accident. A woman and her dog perished in the crash.

If convicted, Ruggs III could spend nearly the rest of his life in jail. He was allegedly drunk and speeding at the time of the incident.

Ruggs III appeared in 20 games in the NFL, including 19 starts. He had 50 receptions for 921 yards and four receptions during his time in the league.

He also had 12 carries for 65 yards.
