On Sunday afternoon, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Carolina Panthers shutdown corner Josh Norman got into it multiple times throughout the Panthers win at MetLife Stadium. So much so that Beckham Jr. should have been ejected for what appeared to be a punch to Norman’s head.
The NFL is expected to fine or even suspend Beckham Jr. in the coming days for his actions in the game.
After the game, the Panthers and Norman trolled Beckham Jr. on Twitter. Norman posted a photo of Beckham Jr. making his one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys with an “L” instead of the football.

Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders was not pleased with what he saw between the young stars. In fact, on the NFL GameDay Final, he said, “If any of the Carolina Panthers are watching this right now, Cam (Newton) has my number. I’m trying to reach Josh, as I don’t have Josh Norman’s number. We need to squash this mess right now.
“We don’t need this on Twitter… this beef. Odell is ready for the call and is ready to tell you he’s apologetic about all that’s transpired. Call, Odell is ready. That’s real talk.”
At this time, we do not know if any of the Panthers reached out to help make this happen. Norman, who has shut down the best wide receivers in the game, let Beckman Jr. have one of the better performances against him all season.

The Giants second-year star had six receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown. All of this came in the second half, as he was shut out in the first half.
Both players were hit with unnecessary roughness with Beckham Jr. having the most with three.
“You know how to get at me,” Sanders continued. “DM (on Twitter) me or whatever. Let’s get this mess over with, as I don’t like this Twitter war. You guys are bigger and better than that. It’s a game and leave it on the field. Move on with life.”
