The 405 winless drought is over. They had not won an event in four Street Outlaws No Prep Kings events.
That came to an end on Saturday when Jeff Lutz won. He defeated Kye Kelley in the final round at Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham, North Carolina.

Lutz lives in Pennsylvania. However, he is aligned with the 405 team.
This was Lutz’s first No Prep Kings win of the season. However, it was the second time that he had advanced to the final round.
Before their July break, Kelley defeated Lutz at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota.
This was the 405’s first win since the end of August. Ryan Martin defeated Scott “Scooter” Taylor in the final round at Firebird Raceway in Eagle, Idaho.
After Martin’s win in Idaho, Kayla Morton, Jerry Bird, and Jim Howe all won. Morton, Bird, & Howe were all first time winners in the series.
Lutz and Martin are the only 405 winners this season. Martin, who is the points leader, has five points race wins.
Kelley has gone to back to back final rounds in the series. He was defeated by Howe at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
