According to the New York Post, a lot of people on Twitter believe that there was a body double in place of Damar Hamlin. Even the Buffalo Bills defensive back wrote “Clone” on Twitter amongst the speculation.
At this time, it is not clear exactly what the post meant. We may not get an explanation to the post.
Hamlin, or the person playing him, was at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York on Sunday. He was there to see the Bills take on the Cincinnati Bengals in their Divisional Round game.

The fans gave him a warm welcome. However, there is a lot of speculation that it was not exactly him at the game.
When he was shown on social media or in video clips, he had a mask covering his face at the game with sunglasses in the snow. Plus, when he was shown in the suite, he was shown with blackened lights on him and the camera was showing him from a distance — not close up.
This was the first time Hamlin attended a game since his cardiac arrest incident earlier this month. On January 2nd, against the Bengals, he collapsed and fell to the ground after making a tackle on wide receiver Tee Higgins.
Critics questioned his appearance, as he was seen in a security vehicle but then went quickly into an elevator. Also, other videos of him at the game were not close-up to show him to the crowd.

Hamlin also did not speak to the crowd. Hamlin was released from the Cincinnati hospital on January 11th.
At this time, it is not clear if Hamlin will ever get to play football again.
