The Cincinnati Bengals had a chance to win the game. However, the Baltimore Ravens came out on top in a 35-34 win on Thursday Night Football at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Ravens are 7-3 overall. They now have won both games against the Bengals this season.

The Bengals fell to 4-6.

With less than one minute left, the Bengals had a chance to kick an extra point to tie the game. However, head coach Zac Taylor decided to take the gamble and go for a two point conversion.

Unfortunately for Taylor, the Bengals, and their fans, they were not able to convert the gamble. This, the Ravens escaped with the one point win.

When asked about his decision after the game, Taylor said, “Came here to win.”

“We’ve got to find a way to close out these games,” Taylor said. “We had an opportunity, we went down there, went for two and it just didn’t work out for us. This team is going to keep putting us in good positions, and there’s going to be a point in the season where that turns.”

Now, the Bengals are in a tough spot. But if they’re able to go on a win streak over the next several weeks, they should be at least in the playoff picture.

The Ravens have expected to be a factor for one of the top two playoff spots if they keep their stellar play up.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson went 25 of 33 for 270 passing yards. He had four touchdown passes.

Derrick Henry had 16 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown. Tylan Wallace had three receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow went 34 of 56 for 428 yards. He had four touchdown passes, as well.

Chase Brown had 13 carries for 42 yards and a touchdown. Ja’Marr Chase had 11 receptions for 264 yards and three touchdowns.

Ravens outscored the Bengals 28-20 in the second half. Henry scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown.

Jackson hit Wallace for an 84-yard touchdown reception. Following the score, the Ravens converted the two-point conversion.

Jackson also hit Rashod Bateman for a five-yard touchdown reception. Jackson also hit Mark Andrews for an 18-yard touchdown reception.

Chase had three touchdowns in the second half. He first caught a 67-yard touchdown reception.

He then caught a 70-yard touchdown reception. And he also had a five-yard touchdown reception.

The Bengals led 14-7 at halftime. Brown scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown. Burrow hit Tanner Hudson for a three-yard touchdown reception.

Ravens’ Jackson hit Nelson Agholor for a six-yard touchdown reception.
