Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett has made it “Facebook official.” Lockett has shared that his wife Lauren is pregnant.
The post did not announce a due date and did not say how far along she is in her pregnancy.
“Wife, two dogs, and now Baby Lockett!,” Tyler Lockett said in the social media post. “We are so excited and filled with joy! God, you get all the glory!”
The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this year.
Lockett, 32, has been with the Seahawks since the 2015 NFL Draft when he was their third-round pick.
Since then, he has appeared in 153 games, including 128 starts. He has had 646 receptions for 8,450 yards and 61 touchdowns.
In 2024, he has appeared in nine games, including eight starts. He has had 34 receptions for 456 yards and two touchdowns.
Lockett had four consecutive 1,000+ receiving yard seasons from 2019 through 2022. However, that streak ended in 2023 after he had 894 yards in the 17 regular-season games.
With under 500 yards, he will likely not get to 1,000 yards this season. He had just three receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown in their 26-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in their last game on November 3rd.
Lockett has not surpassed 100 receiving yards in a game this season. His best performance came in the season-opener when he had 77 receiving yards in a 26-20 win over the Denver Broncos on September 8th, 2024.
