Illegal street race causes death in Southwest Philadelphia

The motorcyclist, according to the law enforcement authorities, say the motorcyclist was hit by a car, who was involved in the illegal street race in Southwest Philadelphia. The incident happened at approx. 1 am on Sunday morning. The crash involving the motorcyclist and the car happened at Brewster Avenue near 76th Street. The authorities said that the two cars were racing when one hit the motorcyclist head-on. The motorcyclist, who the authorities did not release his name, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle that hit the motorcyclist has been questioned by the authorities. The second driver reportedly fled the scene after the accident. Street racing has been popular around the country. It has become even more popular since Street Outlaws became a hit on The Discovery Channel. At first, Street Outlaws were racing on roads that were not blocked off. Now, The Discovery Channel gets permits for the show to block off roads for the drivers to race to allow it to become more safer.
