Justin Swanstrom defeats Lizzy Musi at Empire Dragway

Street Outlaws No Prep Kings driver Justin Swanstrom has won the Invitational at Empire Dragway in Leicester, New York. He won the first points race of the season.

Swanstrom defeated Lizzy Musi in the final round. With the win, he collected $30,000.

The Florida native is now the points leader with 50. Musi is close behind with 40 points.

Due to rain, the race was pushed back. Initially, this race was supposed to be before the Epping race. However, rain pushed it back to after the New Hampshire race.

Then, this weekend, instead of being Friday and Saturday, the race was pushed to Saturday and Sunday due to rain on Friday.

Swanstrom defeated Robin Roberts in the semifinals to advance to the final round. Musi defeated Jeff Lutz in the semifinals.

This was Musi’s first Invitational round of the season. This is Swanstrom’s second final round.

The Hormone Logics-sponsored driver is the fourth Invitational driver to win a race this season. However, the first one to collect any points.

Ryan Martin won at New England Dragway & Motorsports Park in Epping, New Hampshire. He defeated Giuseppe Gentile in the final round.

Then, fellow 405 driver Shawn “Murder Nova” Ellington won the second Invitational at Virginia Motorsports Park. He defeated Swanstrom in the final round.

In the first Invitational of the season, Jim Howe defeated Martin in the final round at Maple Grove Raceway.
