Albeit being on an interim basis. Depending on how the team performs in the final weeks of the season, he may be in considering for the permanent position next season.

Brown was moved up to interim offensive coordinator when the Bears fired first-year offensive coordinator Shane Waldron on November 12th. Before being promoted to interim offensive coordinator, Brown was the Bears passing game coordinator.

He experienced this same exact situation last season. He was with the Carolina Panthers and they fired first-year head coach Frank Reich during the season.

At the time, he was the Panthers offensive coordinator. Yet, he was passed over as management named Chris Tabor as interim head coach.

In 2022, he was the assistant head coach and tight ends coach with the Los Angeles Rams. He won a Super Bowl Championship with the Rams.

One year earlier, he was the assistant head coach and running backs coach with the Rams.

His journey in the NFL began in 2020. He was the Rams running backs coach.

His coaching career dates back to the 2011 season. He was the Georgia Bulldogs strength and conditioning coach.

Brown then was the Chattanooga Mocs running backs coach in 2012. One year later, he was the Marshall Thundering Herd running backs coach in 2013.

In 2014, he was the Wisconsin Badgers running backs coach. He returned to Athens, Georgia in 2015 as the Bulldogs running backs coach.

Brown was the Miami (Florida) Hurricanes offensive coordinator and running backs coach from 2016 through 2018. He was the South Carolina Gamecocks running backs coach in 2019 before departing for the NFL.
