Dolphins’ second-half surge not enough as Packers won on Thanksgiving

The Green Bay Packers defeated the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving night. The Packers won 30-17 over the Dolphins at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Packers improved to 9-3 overall. They have now won their last three games.

Plus, Green Bay has won seven of their last eight games.

The Dolphins’ record dropped to 5-7. Miami’s three-game win streak was snapped with the Thanksgiving defeat.

The Packers are now 16-20-2 on Thanksgiving Day. The Dolphins fell to 5-3 on Thanksgiving.

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is downright dreadful in weather 50 degrees or below. He is now 1-8 in games played in that weather.

The Hawai’ian is now 0-3 in games, where the temperature was 32 degrees or below. And 0-8 in games when it is 40 degrees or below.

According to Covers.com, the forecast for the start of the game was 27 degrees.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love went 21 of 28 for 274 yards. He had two touchdown passes.

Josh Jacobs had 19 carries for 43 yards and one touchdown. Tucker Kraft had six receptions for 78 yards.

Tagovailoa went 37 of 46 for 365 yards. He had two touchdown passes.

Raheem Mostert had five carries for 19 yards. Jonnu Smith had 10 receptions for 113 yards.

The Dolphins outscored the Packers 14-6 in the second half. Tagovailoa hit De’Von Achane for a 14-yard touchdown reception.

Following the score, Tagovailoa hit Jaylen Waddle for a two-point conversion.

Tagovailoa hit Tyreek Hill for a 12-yard touchdown reception.

Packers’ Brandon McManus made two field goals. He first made a 24-yard field goal.

Then, he made a 33-yard field goal.

The Packers led 24-3 at halftime. Love hit Jayden Reed for a three-yard touchdown reception. Jacobs also scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown.

Love hit Reed for a 12-yard touchdown reception.

McManus also made a 46-yard field goal.

Dolphins’ Jason Sanders made a 33-yard field goal.
