Philadelphia, Pa. — The Philadelphia Wings cannot shake this slump. No matter the opponent, they end up on the losing end.
The Colorado Mammoth defeated the Wings 10–8 on Saturday afternoon at the Wells Fargo Center.

The Wings have dropped six straight games and fell to 5-8 overall. The losing streak is the longest this season in the National Lacrosse League.
Things were going well, as they were 5-2 to begin the season, then the team hit a wall. The Wings have not won a game since January 20th when they won over the Vancouver Warriors on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
With their current losing streak, the Wings fell to one of the worst four teams in the league. Only the Albany FireWolves — who defeated the Wings last Saturday night — Toronto Rock, and Las Vegas Desert Dogs have worse records in the league.
The FireWolves — who have two of their four wins against the Wings — and the Rock are 4-9 this season. The Desert Dogs are 3-10.
The Mammoth are 8-5. They are currently tied with the Halifax Thunderbirds with the third-best record in the league.
With the game tied at 8 apiece, Ryan Lee scored twice in the final minute of the game. He made it 9-8 with a goal with 1:14 left in the game.
Then, he scored another tally with 33 seconds in the contest.
Lee led the Mammoth with four goals. He also had two assists.
Thomas Vela also had two goals. He also had one assist.
Will Malcom, Ben McDonald, Jalen Chaster, and Connor Robinson had one goal each. Malcom also had three assists.
McDonald, Chaster, and Robinson had two assists each. Tyson Gibson had four assists and Robert Hope had one assist.
Mammoth goaltender Dillon Ward received the win. He allowed eight goals and made 33 saves.
Joe Resetarits led the Wings with three goals. He also had four assists.
Brennan O’Neill scored two goals. Phil Caputo, Mitch Jones, and Sam LeClair had one goal each.
Jones had a game-high seven assists. Caputo also had two assists.
Blaze Riorden, Evan Messenger, and Shane Simpson had one assist each.
Wings goaltender Nick Damude received the loss. He allowed 10 goals and made 45 saves.
