IndyCar opened its season in Florida on Sunday. However, on the opening late, there was a massive crash. This resulted in a red flag.
According to the broadcast of the race, seven cars were involved. Scott Dixon began the process of the crash as he tapped Felix Rosenqvist.
“I’m really sad we made contact,” Dixon said. “I thought I was clear but I didn’t know he was there.”
Those two drivers escaped serious damage. However, six other cars were shut down after being involved in the snowball crash.
IndyCar officials are fixing the track. And they have to remove the cars from the track.
More to come.
