According to Los Angeles-area TV station, ABC 7, Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler was robbed this past weekend. He was with his wife when this happened.

The incident happened at the Santa Anita Park, where the report said a mob began to accost them. At some point during this time, it is believed that’s when his watch was taken.

At press time, it is not clear if Buehler or his wife were injured during the incident.

While the details are limited at best, Buehler’s watch was the only thing taken. The watch, the report said, has an “estimated value over $100,000.”

With this incident fresh in his mind, it’ll be a distraction as he attempts to return to the mound. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts is expected to give him the ball in Game 3 of the National League Divisional Series.

Each game has won a game in the series. When the series resumes on Tuesday night, it will be a best of three remaining.

The 30-year-old two-time All-Star has gone 1-6 this season in 16 starts. This start against the Padres —- if he does make the start —- it’ll be his first postseason start this season.

During the regular season, he had a 5.38 ERA in 75 1/3 innings.

Buehler — who was born in Lexington, Kentucky — last pitched on September 26th in a 7-2 win against the Padres. He allowed one run on five hits over five innings for the win.

He also pitched on May 12th against the Padres. Buehler went 3 1/2 innings and allowed three runs in the loss.

In his career, he is 22-10 on the road during the regular season in 57 starts. He had a 3.78 ERA in 321 2/3 innings pitched.

Through September and October in his career, he has gone 9-6 in 25 starts. He has had a 3.76 ERA in 146 innings.
