The Philadelphia Flyers have traded defenseman Ronald Attard to the Edmonton Oilers. In exchange, the Flyers received defenseman Benjamin Gleason.
This trade involved minor league players.
Gleason played in seven games with the Bakersfield Condors this season. He had one goal and three assists.
He has been in the American Hockey League since the 2018-19 season. Gleason has played in just four NHL games with the Dallas Stars during the 2018-19 season.
In those four games in the NHL, he had one assist.
Attard has also had a cup of coffee in the NHL. He played in seven games in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season. He did not register any points in those games.
With the Flyers, he appeared in 29 games over three seasons. He appeared in 15 games during the 2021-22 season. That season, he had two goals and two assists.
In the 2022-23 season, he appeared in two goals and did not have a point. Then, last season, Attard appeared in 12 games and had two assists.
Attard has been in the AHL since the 2022-23 season with the Phantoms.
