The NFL had a huge dilemma on its hands. The league may be forced to move one of its playoff games.
And the league is prepared in case they do have to move the game. The Minnesota Vikings are scheduled to play the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on ESPN on Monday night at 8 pm EST.
At press time, the plan is to keep the game in California. However, there are devastating wildfires on the greater Los Angeles area, especially in Palisades, Eaton and Hurst.
This is making life unsafe for those that live in the area as they have been displaced.
If the league cannot keep the game in its host city, the league plans to move the game to Arizona. It would be moved to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The league will continue to evaluate the situation and make the appropriate decisions moving forward. If it’s moved out of California, it is going to be tough for all the Rams fans to attend the game elsewhere.
If it is moved to Arizona, the league may allow for ticket sales to be lowered. Or even run some kind of promotion to fill up the stadium with discounted tickets.
That decision has yet to be made though.
