Team Canada is on top of the hockey world once again. They defeated Team USA 3-2 in overtime in the 4 Nations Face off on Thursday night at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
With the win, the Canadians got some revenge on their American counterparts. See, on Saturday night in this tournament, Team USA won 3-1 against Canada at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

The inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off tournament took place of the NHL’s annual All-Star Game. With the success of this two-week tournament, the NHL will likely turn to it in 2027.

Connor McDavid, the 10-year NHL veteran, scored past Team USA goalie Connor Hellebuyck at 8:18 in overtime.
McDavid had three goals in this tournament. But this goal is going to be remembered for a long time.
The Richmond Hill, Canada native scored two of his three goals against Team USA in the tournament. He also had a goal against Finland. McDavid had five points overall in four games.
Canadian player Sam Bennett scored at 14:00 in the second period to make it 2-2. Team USA took a 2-1 lead when Jake Sanderson scored at 7:32.

Team USA tied the game at 1-1 in the first period when Brady Tkachuk scored at 16:52. Team Canada took a 1-0 lead when Nathan McKinnon, who was named the 4 Nations Face-off MVP, scored at 4:48.
Canadian goalie Jordan Binnington made 31 saves. He had a .939 save percentage.
Team USA goalie Hellebuyck made 24 saves. He also had a .889% save percentage.
