They then joined the National Conference before joining the Western Conference. The team joined the Central Division in 1967.
From 1967 through 2001, the team was located in the Central Division. However, since the 2002 season, the Packers have played in the North Division.
The Packers are one of the most historic NFL teams. The team won 11 NFL Championships before the AFL-NFL merger with the 1970 season.

The team has won four Super Bowls. They won their first Super Bowl during the 1966 season.
The following season, the team also won the Super Bowl. Thirty years after their first Championship, the team won their third Championship during the 1996 season.
