Boat racer Tracy Hawkins has died

According to the American Power Boat Association, Tracy Hawkins has passed away. His age is unknown at this time.

Hawkins was involved in an accident. An official cause of death has not been announced yet.

“Our thoughts are with Tracy’s entire family, his friends, and all of APBA as we mourn this loss together,” the statement said.

Hawkins was killed during an accident at the Wake the Lake 4 event at Champions Park Lake in Springfield, Ohio.

According to the Association, the two other competitors, who were involved in the crash, did not suffer major injuries. The drivers were Fred Durr and Dylan Anderson.

Both Durr and Anderson only suffered minor injuries.
