Randall Gay suspended from work after causing stir; son arrested

Former NFL player Randall Gay, who is now a prosecutor in Louisiana, is in hot water. Gay has been suspended from his job.

Gay showed up at a crime scene on Wednesday night. He wanted to ask questions about the incident.

His young son was arrested. And as his father, he wanted to know what was going on.

“I suspended him without pay, and he will have a disciplinary review hearing on June 15,” District Attorney Tony Clayton said.

According to Clayton, the police were executing a search warrant. And the older Gay caused a stir, WBRZ-2 is reporting.

The police were investigating an earlier shooting, the report said. Gay’s son and other individuals l were arrested in connection with the shooting in a house.

Gay went to law school following his retirement from the NFL. He is an assistant district attorney.

Gay’s son was one of four individuals arrested at the house. Right now, his son is out on bond.

The following individuals have been arrested:

  • 20-year-old Sidney Moore
  • 19-year-old Kintrell Moore
  • 19-year-old Randall Gay
  • 19-year-old Demarcus Brown

Brown is facing the most serious charges. He is facing an attempted murder charge. He also is facing an illegal use of a weapon.

He is in jail on a $250,000 bond.

Both Kintrell Moore and Gay are facing similar charges. Each are facing possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.

Plus, they are also facing possession with intent to distribute schedule 1 narcotics. Each are out of jail on a $15,000 bond.

The 20-year-old Moore has been hit with possession of a stolen firearm. He was also charged with possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.

Plus, the authorities charged him with possession with intent to distribute schedule 1 narcotics. In addition, there was also an outstanding warrant for his arrest for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

He has a $25,000 bond.

Gay played for two teams in his NFL career. He began his career with the New England Patriots, where he played from 2004 through 2007.

He also played for the New Orleans Saints. He played for the Saints from 2008 through 2011.

During his playing career, he won two Super Bowls.
